The rules just changed in your favor
In July 2025, British Columbia opened a direct licensing route for US-trained, board-certified physicians. No repeat residency, no extra exams for most specialties. In December 2025, Canada added a dedicated Express Entry category for physicians, with permanent residency spaces set aside.
